Accredited Exercise Physiologist
Jennifer has over 10 years of experience in various health care settings including hospitals, aged care, private practice, falls prevention programs, pitch side care for semi-professional rugby league and in addition is a Rhythmic Gymnastics coach at a state level.
Jennifer describes herself as someone who is fascinated with human movement and the human’s response to injury and illness. She believes that we as humans are inherently robust and resilient and enjoys helping people achieve and feel this using a biopsychosocial model, as it is an evidence based approach to healthcare. It can support people to to be able to self-manage their condition and as an Exercise Physiologist, Jennifer helps to achieve this through movement and lifestyle changes.
Jennifer’s areas of interest are persistent pain conditions, Arthritis, women’s health including pre and post-natal, and managing auto immune conditions through physical activity and movement. She has a special interest in people who have connective tissue disorders in particularly Ehlers Danlos Syndromes and Hypermobility Spectrum Disorder.
Jennifer has a love for the art, mastery and athleticism of dance and gymnastics, and has been involved with the different disciplines as a participant and coach since a tiny tot.
Jenny loves spending time with her husband, Chris, and their two beautiful young children Ava and Hugh who she likes to get bare foot and active.
